Ballymena Livestock Market intends to proceed with all seasonal sheep sales this autumn.

We will try to make things as close to normal as possible although we await more definitive answers from the NI Executive regarding social distancing restrictions and access to our sales for sellers accompanying their stock. But as regulations currently stand it is likely that some form of social distancing regulations will remain in place throughout the ‘back end’ sales.

Therefore there may be some alteration to timings and some sales may have to be moved to alternative dates. In addition as rules currently stand it is unlikely that shows of livestock can be facilitated.

Ballymena Livestock Market will continue to review and update this message whenever we receive any new government guidance.

We would like to thank all of our customers for their understanding in the meantime and hope that this puts people’s mind at rest in relation to the upcoming pedigree, breeding ewe and store lamb sales.
